Precautions for the installation of plastic water tanks

1、 Installation environment: When installing a plastic water tank, it should be in a horizontal position and able to withstand the weight when the tank is filled with water; Due to the protrusion of the bottom of the water tank towards the box during production, an appropriate amount of fine sand can be used to fill the bottom during installation, increasing the load-bearing capacity of the bottom of the water tank; The temperature around the water tank cannot exceed the limit range of cold and heat resistance of the water tank.

2、 Test sealing: Before the plastic water tank is officially put into use, it should be filled with water to test for leakage to prevent unnecessary losses. If storing chemical raw materials, there should be drainage ditches and dilution devices around the plastic water tank.

3、 Selection of hole interface accessories: The opening and accessories are configured according to the specific use of the customer, including PE flanges PVC、ABS、 Stainless steel, iron interfaces, etc. are available for selection; Strong acid and strong alkali, the organic solvent inlet and outlet are connected by PE material flanges, such as containing 98% concentrated sulfuric acid, less than 65% concentrated nitric acid, organic solutions (formaldehyde, toluene, etc.). 4、 Joint and flange installation: When installing a plastic water tank, the joint or flange connected to the bottom of the tank should be perpendicular to the barrel wall, making it easy to use soft connections or shock absorbers. Water tanks with a capacity of more than 10 tons need to be equipped with reinforcement sleeves to avoid uneven force on the barrel wall after being filled with liquid, which may damage the outlet connection and cause leakage. In severe cases, it may even damage the joint and barrel body. When unloading and installing, please use a crane and professional installation personnel to command.

5、 Installation of scaffolding: If it is necessary for workers or mechanical equipment to work on the top of the water tank during work, a scaffolding or ladder should be installed next to the water tank to ensure safe operation; When the liquid level cannot be controlled, install an overflow port to prevent liquid from overflowing from the inlet, affecting personal safety, and regularly check the safety of the water tank and its pipelines.
